Single cask

A distillery bottling is a bottling by the whisky distillery itself. We also call this 'original brand' bottling or OB. Until the 1970s, there were only 12 distillers in Scotland who released original brands. The whisky from the other distillers that did not disappear into the blends was bottled by independent bottlers.
Almost all distillers now have their own bottlings. This can be standard bottlings that always come in standard quality, or special bottlings in a limited edition. Sometimes even single-cask releases are involved.
But in addition to the OB's, there still appear independent bottlings (IB) from all distilleries.

Writers' Tears Marsala Cask Finish

This Writer's Tears Limited Edition, an Irish single malt whisky, was finished in a high quality Marsala cask. And you can taste that: deep, warm and earthy notes, dried fruit, candied ginger, apple and spices. To enjoy on winter evenings. Bottled at 45%.

Filliers 15-year-old

This 15-year-old single malt from the Belgian Filliers is certainly a whisky with a distinctive character; the distillery profile is clearly recognisable. The influence of the first-fill sherry casks in which the whisky matured is also unmistakable. (43%)

Saburomaru 2021 VI - The Lovers

The Wakatsuru Saburomaru Distillery distils whisky from peated Scottish barley malt and regional barley malt dried over a fire of Scottish peat. This Saburomaru Tarot Card VI - The Lovers (Islay & Highland Peated) is a fine example of this! (48% ABV)

Jim Beam Black - 07-year-old

We don't know exactly how much longer this Jim Beam Kentucky straight bourbon matured than normal, but it does have an extra intense taste. A very pleasant drinkable bourbon whiskey. This Jim Beam Black is also extra attractive because of the nice price!

Bulleit Rye

The '95' on the label of this Bulleit rye whiskey stands for the percentage of rye in the mash. And that is a lot. If you want to know what a real rye whiskey tastes like, then this American Bulleit is a good example. And that for a reasonable price!

Highland Park 12-year-old - Sunset label - No Box

'The greatest all-rounder in the world of malt whisky'. This is how the famous whisky writer Michael Jackson described this Highland Park at the time. This edition of the HP 12 was released in 2006, with the Sunset label on the bottle. A classic. (40%)

Balcones Baby Blue

The Balcones Baby Blue is the first Texan whisky since the Prohibition in the 1920s. Made from roasted 'blue corn', an oily kind of corn. Balcones Distilling deliberately makes a young but complex dram with this whisky. Bottled at 46% ABV.

Kanosuke Single Malt Limited Edition 2026

The Kanosuke Distillery is located in the mild climate zone of southern Japan. Whisky ages faster there than, for example, in Scotland. This Limited Edition 2026 single malt aged in various cask types: bourbon, apple brandy, shochu, and white wine. (57%)

Evan Williams Bottled-In-Bond

If you are looking for a fine, complex bourbon for a reasonable price, then this Evan Williams Bottled-in-Bond is an option! With a mash recipe of 78% corn, 10% rye and 12% barley malt and a minimum maturation of 4 years, this is a classic bourbon whiskey

Saburomaru 2021 - V The Hierophant

The Saburomaru Distillery in Japan uses unique, cast Zemon pot stills. That, and the use of aged ale yeast alongside fresh yeast in the distillation of this bottling, gives this single malt whisky a full and complex flavour, despite its young age. (48%)

Penderyn Red Dragon Pack 3 x 20 cl

Penderyn, ever heard of it? This box is an introduction to this single malt whisky distillery that opened in Wales in 2004. Three single malts of which one finished in Madeira casks, one in red wine and the third is 'cask-peated'. 3 x 20 CL at 43%.

Kilchoman Machir Bay Cask Strength - 2025 Edition

Not your standard Machir Bay from Kilchoman, but a cask-strength one. A single farm malt, made from home-malted Islay barley. Matured in mostly bourbon and a few sherry casks, Machir Bay is medium-smoky with sweet notes, citrus, and vanilla. (58.1%)

Paul John Nirvana

A great bottle to get acquainted with the Paul John single malt whisky from the Indian John Distilleries. The Nirvana takes you along the versatile Paul John spectrum of scents and flavors in the non-peated version. At 40% a dram for everyone.

Saburomaru 2021 VI - The Lovers - Cask Strength
