For a very nice price you have here a single malt whisky that matured in a very interesting combination of casks. It is a 10-year-old Craigellachie that matured in 1st-fill PX, 2nd-fill Oloroso and de-charred/re-charred bourbon casks. (57.1% = 100 proof)
The color of this single malt whisky suggests that it matured in sherry casks, the label refers to two hogsheads, which usually indicates bourbon casks. Anyway, this Dailuaine matured for 24 years in those casks and was bottled at cask strength: 57.6%.
In this Cask Strength series bottling from Signatory Vintage, a 16-year-old Dailuaine single malt whisky, you can taste meaty 'Speyside' undertones alongside the complexity and depth conjured up by the oloroso sherry cask in which it was finished. (57.0%)

German bottler Maltbarn does not participate in hypes, marketing tricks or expensive wooden boxes. The only thing that counts for the bottlings is quality. We find that in this 21-year-old, bourbon-matured Glen Moray single malt whisky. Bottled at 53.0%.

This is the 8th edition in bottler Signatory Vintage's new, affordable Small Batch series. It is an 11 year old Glenallachie single malt whisky. The Speysider matured in Oloroso sherry casks and was bottled at the Small Batch standard of 48.2%.
With this Glenlivet we have something special in our shop. It went into the cask in 1952 and was bottled by the Swiss Lateltin after an unknown period. The bottle has a screw cap, and whatever the label says, it's a single malt whisky!
Under the famous bottler's brand Silver Seal, this single malt from the Glenury Royal Distillery, which closed in 1985, was released in 2001. The Highlander matured for 20 years in a sherry cask and was bottled at 56.3% ABV. A real collector's item!
Signatory Vintage also released special bottlings twenty years ago. In 2003, for example, there was this 10-year-old Highland Park single malt whisky. The Orkney malt matured in a refill sherry cask and was bottled in 'dumpy' bottles at 59.2%.
This is already the 246th bottling of the German Maltbarn, and this edition will also be well-appreciated. It is a single grain whisky from Invergordon, one of the most famous grain distilleries. It is 16 years old, bourbon matured, and at 55.1%.
This single malt whisky was distilled in an (unnamed) Islay distillery, according to bottler Maltbarn. The whisky then matured for 24 years in a sherry cask and was bottled at 51.8%. Incidentally, the label features an image of the Laphroaig Distillery.
This Maltbarn bottling is another unspecified single malt whisky from the island of Islay. The label hints at 'Southern A' for the distillery...The whisky matured for 14 years in a bourbon cask and was bottled at 50.2% cask strength. Curious?
Another stellar release in the Symington's Choice range. Laphroaig 1997 matured for over 25 years. Smoky, fat, medicinal and powerful. No subtle whisky here. The whisky aged in a bourbon hogshead, even though the colour would suggest a sherry influence.
The longer the distillery was closed, the fewer Littlemill bottlings hit the market. We now have a bottle of a Malts of Scotland bottling from 2010. With its 20 years of aging in a bourbon cask, it is really something for the Littlemill enthusiast! 53.9%
A cheerful label for a single malt whisky that cheers you up. It is an Inchfad, a peated malt from the versatile Loch Lomond Distillery. The whisky matured for 20 years in an ex-bourbon cask, after which Liquid Treasures bottled it at 54.2% ABV.
The label is probably something for insiders, but the whisky inside is interesting for anyone who enjoys single malt whisky. Maltbarn bottled a Longmorn after it had matured in a sherry cask for 16 years, and bottled the Speysider at 53.4% cask strength
Speyside distillery Longmorn's single malt whisky always scores well, and this release in Signatory's Cask Strength Collection will be no exception. The malt matured for 12 years in a first-fill bourbon barrel and is bottled at 56.9% cask strength.
The colorful head of a crowned pigeon adorns this bottling from the German Liquid Treasures. Behind the label is a 12-year-old Macduff (also known as Glen Deveron). The single malt whisky matured in a bourbon barrel and was bottled at 56.9% ABV.

For a great price/quality ratio, you can definitely go to the 100 Proof series from Signatory Vintage. This is edition 24 in that series. It is an 8-year-old Miltonduff single malt whisky that matured in first-fill bourbon casks. It is bottled at 57.1%.
Under the legendary bottler-brand Silver Seal, this beautifully sherried Mortlach single malt whisky was released in 2012. The Speysider is a full, almost thick whisky with characteristic sherry notes like dark chocolate, dates and raisins. (21y, 56.3%)
