This Knockdhu single malt whisky (also known as anCnoc) matured for 16 years in a second-fill Oloroso cask before being bottled by Signatory Vintage at 56.9% ABV. It's not a sherry bomb, but rather a subtly sherried, well-balanced dram.

The longer the distillery was closed, the fewer Littlemill bottlings hit the market. We now have a bottle of a Malts of Scotland bottling from 2010. With its 20 years of aging in a bourbon cask, it is really something for the Littlemill enthusiast! 53.9%
The label is probably something for insiders, but the whisky inside is interesting for anyone who enjoys single malt whisky. Maltbarn bottled a Longmorn after it had matured in a sherry cask for 16 years, and bottled the Speysider at 53.4% cask strength
A lot of discussion is going on about the distillery that supplied the whisky. It is a bottling from the Mac Talla series, the newest line by the Morrison family. Especially for Islay whiskies. This edition is called Mara (= Sea). Expect maritime notes!
Another bottling from the Mac Talla range, the Morrison family's special Islay series. It is a 15 year old single malt whisky matured in bourbon and sherry casks. It is unknown from which Islay distillery it comes, but maybe it is Caol Ila. Or Laphroaig..
