Port Askaig is a small harbor in the north of the Scottish whisky island of Islay. And it is the brand that under which beverage wholesaler Specialty Drinks Ltd. bottles single malt whisky from various Islay distilleries.
Around 2011, Speciality Drinks bottled a 19-year-old Islay single malt whisky under the Port Askaig label. It was supposedly a Caol Ila. This complex dram naturally features peat and smoky notes, as well as maritime, sweet, and meaty notes. (45.8% ABV)
