Glencadam 10-year-old

Fresh fruit, grassy, malty, fresh, sparkling even. Those are just some of the keywords that come up when tasting this 10-year-old single malt whisky. A nice standard bottling from Highland distillery Glencadam, dating from 1825. Bottled at 46% ABV.

Glencadam 15-year-old

Glencadam was founded two centuries ago in the East Highlands, but until the early 2000s, there wasn't a single distillery bottling. Now, however, there are several, such as this 15-year-old, bourbon-matured single malt. Now with a new label. (46% ABV)

Glencadam 18-year-old

The 18-year-old version is one of the core bottlings from Highland distillery Glencadam. The single malt whisky matured in carefully selected ex-bourbon casks. Smooth and pleasant to drink, with fruity notes and notes like vanilla and nutmeg. (46%)

Glencadam 2007 - Reserva de Jerez

In 2013, the two-century-old Highland distillery Glencadam bottled a limited edition of this Reserva de Jerez, a 15-year-old single malt whisky, finished in Oloroso sherry casks. An easy-drinking dram, intense and with an oily mouthfeel. (46% ABV)

Glencadam Reserva de Porto Branco

Glencadam does things differently for a change: they didn't finish this single malt in red Port casks (Ruby or Tawny Port or so), but this Glencadam is finished in white Port casks! That results in a completely different flavour profile. (46% ABV)

Glendalough Calvados XO Cask Finish

Founded in 2011, south of Dublin, Glendalough Distillery distils single malt and single grain whisky that matured in bourbon and is finished in sometimes very special wood. This is a blend of malt and grain, finished in a Calvados XO cask. (42% ABV)

Glendalough Double Barrel

If you want to try an Irish single grain whiskey, one that is aged on bourbon, and finished on sherry and then at a reasonable price: here is the Glendalough Double Barrel. Light, pleasant to drink, but also complex. Something different!

Glendalough Madeira Cask Finish

This is a blended Irish whiskey, released as a single cask bottling by Glendalough. It is a blend of single malt and grain whiskey, both distilled in their own distillery. The blend matured in a bourbon cask and is finished in a Madeira cask. (42% ABV)

Glendalough Pot Still Irish Whiskey

The young Glendalough Distillery near Dublin specializes in maturing and finishing their craft whisky in special casks. This single pot still whiskey is finished in a cask made from an oak that stood in Ireland's Wicklow Mountains. Bottled 43%.

Glendronach 12-year-old - Sherry Cask Matured

A fine example of what Glendronach is famous for: sherried whiskies. Let this 12-year-old 'breathe' for a few minutes, and then taste the nice balance between the spirit and the PX and oloroso casks on which it matured. For a reasonable price. At 43%.

Glendronach 15-year-old

You can immediately see from the colour of this 15-year-old Glendronach that it matured in sherry casks, in this case Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso casks. The Highland distillery is renowned for its sherried whisky, and rightly so, as is evident here! (46%)

Glendronach 18-year-old - Marsala Finish

Besides the sherry influences that permeate this Glendronach single malt, this whisky also bears the influence of the Marsala casks in which it was finished, all beautifully balanced. The Highlander matured for 18 years in European oak casks. (46% ABV)

Glendronach 1993 - Bottled for Whiskybase.com

In 2014, the Glendronach Distillery bottled this 21-year-old single malt whisky especially for us. It is a true, classic Glendronach, matured in an oloroso sherry cask. The reviews are raving, and it gets a score of almost 90 points. (52.1%)

Glendronach 1993 - Cask 1607 - Damaged Box

Originally only available for purchase at the distillery itself, this 18-year-old Glendronach single malt whisky is now available in our shop. The classic Highlander aged in an Oloroso cask and is bottled at 56.1%. It scores over 89 points on Whiskybase.

Glendronach 1994 - Hand-Filled

In 2015, this bottle was filled by hand by a visitor to the Glendronach Distillery. The cask from which it was filled contained a perfectly sherried single malt whisky over 20 years old. An exemplary Glendronach at 58.1% cask strength. (score: 91 points)

Glendronach 1995 - Cask 543 - Damaged Box

The Glendronach distillery is best known for its sherryed single malts. This 2016 bottling also makes it clear why. The whisky matured for 20 years in a select Pedro Ximénez sherry cask and is bottled at 54.6% cask strength. It scores well over 89 points!

Glendronach 1995 for Whiskybase

Bottled in 2015 at 19 year old exclusively for Whiskybase. The nose gives you raisins, figs, chocolate, wood and leather. The taste more on plums, sweet sherry, honey and raisins. Finishing in dark chocolate chips, spicy ending.

Glendronach Cask Strength - Batch 1

In 2012, the first batch of the Cask Strength series from Highland distillery Glendronach was released. It is known for its sherried single malt whisky, and this bottling certainly contributed to that: it matured in Oloroso and PX casks. Bottled at 54.8%.

Glenfarclas 10-year-old

Also in terms of price this 10 year old Glenfarclas is a fine 'entry-level' single malt. Light, fruity 'Speyside' tones combined with malt, a hint of smoke and the sweetness of sherry make this whisky easy to drink. At 40%.

Glenfarclas 105

This is a Glenfarclas as you'd imagine a Glenfarclas single malt whisky. The Speysider matured in sherry casks before being bottled in 2012 at a robust 60% ABV. Rich and complex, with a well-balanced sherry influence. And at a budget price.

Glenfarclas 105 - 12-year-old Limited Edition

The Glenfarclas 105 - Aged 12 Years is a limited edition single malt whisky from the Speyside distillery. Fully matured in sherry casks and bottled at a sturdy 60% ABV, this 12-year-old is richer, milder and more mature than the 'regular' 105.

Glenfarclas 12-year-old - 700ml

Speyside distillery Glenfarclas is known for its bottlings that matured on sherry casks. A good example is this 12 year old with its full taste and notes of light and dark fruit and sherry. It is therefore one of the core bottlings of Glenfarclas. (43%)

Glenfarclas 15-year-old

Looking for a well-sherried whisky at an acceptable price? Then try this dark-colored 15-year-old Glenfarclas. A great combination of light, fruity Speyside tones and the warm sweetness of sherry. Bottled at 46%.
