There are whisky enthusiasts who still regret the closure of the Lochside Distillery in 1992. The single malt whisky from the Highland distillery was highly appreciated! We hope to provide some comfort with this 19-year-old Lochside bottling from 2011.
The spirit for this Longmorn single malt whisky came from the still in 1967. It matured in a sherry cask until it was bottled by Gordon & MacPhail in 2012, some 45 years old. We are dealing with a unique malt here, as is also evident from a score of 90.5!

This Macallan single malt whisky was bottled in 2017 after having matured for 12 years in carefully selected casks of both European and American oak. The Speysider is bottled at a strength of 40% ABV. (unfortunately, the original box is missing)
When you say Macallan, you say sherried whiskey. The distillery, which opened in Speyside in 1824, still mainly produces single malt whisky matured in sherry casks. Take this 12 year old edition: buttery, sweet, dark red fruit, tobacco...a pleasant dram.
