Big Peat is a brand of independent bottler Douglas Laing. Under this brand Douglas Laing releases blended malt whiskies, with a mix of smoky Islay whiskies. The Christmas editions of Big Peat are well-known.
This Islay blended malt whisky has been bottled exclusively for well-behaved Dutch whisky lovers: it's the first Big Peat Sinterklaas edition, celebrating a quintessential Dutch winter fest. The blend of Islay malts is finished in sherry casks. (54.5%)
