The title Traditional of this Ben Nevis bottling refers to the times when single malt whisky was only distilled from peated barley malt. Hence, the Peated Malt on the label. You could, therefore, call this smoky and peaty whisky a classic Ben Nevis. (46%)
The Bladnoch 13 is the successor to the popular Bladnoch 11 single malt whisky and matured like the 11 in bourbon casks. Incidentally, this Bladnoch 13 Heritage Collection edition contains distillate of at least 15 years old due to circumstances! (46.7%)
This Glenlossie single malt whisky matured for 12 years in a first decharred and then re-charred bourbon cask. The Speysider was released in The Ultimate-Cask Strength series by Dutch bottler Van Wees at a strength of 57.3%. For a great price!
This 10-year-old Wolfburn single malt whisky is a single-cask release celebrating the 20th edition of the Pot Still Festival in the Netherlands in 2024. The Highland malt matured in a large second-fill Oloroso sherry cask and was bottled at 50.0% strength
This 11-year-old Arran Small Batch bottling was finished in specially selected Australian Cabernet Sauvignon wine casks. The single malt whisky from the Isle of Arran was bottled especially for the Dutch market in a limited edition. (55.7% cask strength)
When this Seagram's V.O. Canadian Whisky was bottled for the Dutch market, we do not know. Back then, by purchasing this 6-year-old blended Canadian whisky in a 350 ml bottle, you had a chance to win a belt, but those times are over. (40%)
Under the Baker's label, Jim Beam distils a bourbon that is fermented with a different yeast than usual and comes out of the still at a lower alcohol percentage, which gives it an extra mild character. This 7-year-old Baker's is bottled at 53.5%.
This is a bottle from batch #3 of Benromach 2014 single malt whisky in the Cask Strength series. The malt aged for about 10 years in sherry and bourbon casks. A full-bodied dram with notes like stewed fruit, marmalade, a hint of smoke and aniseed. (60.6%)
Jasmine tea, orange blossom, almond, dark chocolate, fudge, honey and a hint of cinnamon. You can find all these notes and more in this Cley single malt whisky. The 5-year-old Rotterdam malt is finished for 1.5 years in an ex-moscatel quarter cask. (50%)
About 10 years ago, Isle of Harris Distillers opened its doors on the Scottish island of the same name. Under the brand The Hearach, they now have released about 25 bottlings, including this one. The single malt whisky aged in a 1st-fill Oloroso cask. 46%
Blended Scotch is the most sold whisky. Usually, these are the easy drams that you drink with ice or in a cola. But sometimes a blend deserves extra attention, like this Seven Stars: 60% malt, at least 1 year Oloroso finish. Old-fashioned good! (46%)

The whiskies in Decadent Drinks' Equinox & Solstice series are always bottled at the easy drinking strength of 48.5%. That goes also for this Autumn Edition, a Caol Ila single malt whisky that matured for 11 years in an Oloroso European oak cask.

If you want to taste an Irish single pot still whiskey at cask strength, this 12 year old Redbreast is an option. Aged in bourbon and sherry casks. Pot still whiskey is made from barley malt and unmalted barley. This batch is at 57.2% cask strength.
Rarely do we have new make spirit on offer, the liquid straight from the still that is supposed to become whisky, but this Dubhghlas Peatsieis one! From the quirky, young distillery of a Dutch sailor couple. A delicious, peated spirit. (63.35% ABV)
The creative blender Compass Box released in 2013 its second The Peat Monster. It is again a balanced combination of single malt whiskies and casks in which they matured. In this smoky monster, you will find various peated single malt whiskies (46%)
The Small Batch series from Signatory Vintage is very suitable for exploring the world of Scotch whisky, also due to its favourable price. A good example is this Glen Garioch single malt whisky that matured for 12 years in first-fill bourbon casks. 48.2%
Glen Moray Distillery released this edition of their single malt whisky in 2019 as Elgin Curiosity. The small batch bottling from their Cask Finish Project is finished in St. James Rhum Agricole casks. Expect notes of tropical fruit and toffee. (46.3%)
This Cley single malt whisky matured for 3 years in a bourbon cask and 1.5 years in a Palo Cortado octave. Palo Cortado is a fairly rare sherry with the fullness of Oloroso and the freshness of Amontillado. You can really taste that in this dram. (52%)
In 2020, The Whisky Agency bottled this 23 year old Ben Nevis. The classic Highland single malt whisky matured in a bourbon cask, a hogshead, and was bottled at a strength of 47.6% ABV. It is an archetypal Ben Nevis that scores almost 90 points!
