The Aberlour Distillery is best known for its sherried whisky. This bottling proves that this is justly so. The 18-year-old single malt whisky matured in casks of both American and European oak and is finished in PX and Oloroso casks. (43% ABV)
The seventh Ardbeg bottling in Speciality Drinks’ Elements of Islay series was released in 2016. The single malt whisky matured in a PX-sherry cask and is bottled at 56.3% cask strength. It received a score of 88.6 points on Whiskybase so far.

The barley malt from which this single malt whisky is distilled was, typical of Thy, dried over beech wood fire. This gives the whisky characteristic smoky notes that complement the influence of the PX and Oloroso casks in which it matured. (49.5%)
