Ardbeg Scorch

The single malt whisky from the Ardbeg distillery is known for its peaty, smoky and ashy notes (alongside everything else, of course). With this Scorch, Ardbeg takes it one step further: the whisky matured in extra heavily charred casks. Watch it! (46%)

Littlemill 1990 Malts of Scotland

The longer the distillery was closed, the fewer Littlemill bottlings hit the market. We now have a bottle of a Malts of Scotland bottling from 2010. With its 20 years of aging in a bourbon cask, it is really something for the Littlemill enthusiast! 53.9%

Longrow 23-year-old 22/65 - Minor damage on box

Longrow is the most peated single malt whisky from the Springbank Distillery in Campbeltown. This is a special Longrow: the malt matured for 23 years in a former rum cask and was then bottled in only 204 bottles at 42% cask strength. So, be quick!

Royal Brackla 18-year-old

This 18 year old single malt whisky is one of the core bottlings of the Royal Brackla Distillery in the Highlands. The whisky is finished in Palo Cortado shery casks. That sherry influence is not overpowering, and in balance with the fruitiness of Brackla

Royal Brackla 12-year-old Oloroso Sherry Cask Finish

'The King's own whisky', the label reads. And that king is William IV who gave the Brackla Distillery in the Highlands the right to bear the title Royal. This 12-year-old Royal Brackla single malt whisky is finished in oloroso sherry casks. At 46% ABV.

Glen Moray 18-year-old

You don't often come across an 18-year-old single malt whisky for this price anymore! It is a standard bottling in the Elgin Heritage series from Speyside Distillery Glen Moray. The sweet, fruity, malty whisky matured in first fill bourbon casks. (47.2%)

Glen Moray 15-year-old

A new edition in the Elgin Heritage series of Glen Moray standard bottlings. The 15 year old single malt whisky matured in both ex-bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks and is bottled at 40% ABV. This Speyside-malt is available for a very reasonable price!

Knockando 18-year-old

Very reasonably priced for an 18 year old single malt whisky, this Knockando 18 in the Slow Matured series. This full-bodied and fruity Speysider matured in both bourbon casks and European oak sherry casks. Complex, balanced and pleasant to drink. At 43%.

Tomintoul Cigar Malt

Not much is known about this Tomintoul Cigar Malt single malt whisky. It is a special distillery bottling, matured in sherry casks. But for the picture here are some notes that tasters tasted: anise, juniper, dried fruit, tobacco, mild smoke and peat.

Arran Amarone Cask Finish

The Isle of Arran Distillery nowadays also experiments with 'finishing', maturing its single malt whisky in the end in other types of casks. This malt is finished in Amarone casks and that adds notes of cherries, dark chocolate and Turkish delight. At 50%

Ardbeg Ardcore

A 'hardcore' Ardbeg, that's how you could call this Ardbeg single malt whisky. Made from intensely roasted barley malt, this bottling accentuates Ardbeg's already distinct profile. Charcoal, sweet smoke, aniseed, dark chocolate. 1 Bottle per person!

Isle of Jura 1992 Signatory Vintage - Cask 2491

The Isle of Jura Distillery is located on the Scottish island of Jura. It has a series of core bottlings and also regularly releases special bottlings. However, this bottling of a 29-year-old bourbon-aged single malt whisky is by Signatory Vintage. 52.4%

Amrut Fusion

The Amrut Fusion is a single malt whisky from the Indian Amrut Distillery that is made from Indian and peated Scottish barley malt: distilled and matured separately and then finished together in bourbon casks. (50%)

Glengoyne The Legacy Series Chapter 3

This bottling, Chapter III in the Legacy Series, is a tribute from the Glengoyne Distillery to an excise man who was instrumental in defining single malt whisky. Matured in both bourbon and sherry casks, and available for a friendly price. Bottled at 48%.

Ben Nevis Coire Leis

Without much fanfare, Ben Nevis Distillery has redesigned its labels and revamped its range of standard bottlings. This Core Leis is an example of that: an 'entry level' NAS (8 to 10 years?) single malt whisky matured in 1st-fill bourbon casks. (46%)

Unnamed Speyside 2009 Ultimate - Cask DRU 17/A195 #4

Dutch bottler Van Wees is known for the reasonable price of their bottlings in the The Ultimate series. Be surprised by this single malt whisky from an unnamed Speyside distillery. It matured for 13 years in a refill sherry cask and it is bottled at 46%.

Tamdhu 18-year-old

This Tamdhu is a limited edition distillery bottling, not a standard edition. The Speyside single malt whisky matured in an oloroso sherry cask for 18 years, resulting in a complex, layered dram, with distinct sherry notes of course. Bottled at 46.8%.

Miltonduff 2008 Acorn

A joint bottling between bottler Acorn and ARen Trading, this Miltonduff single malt whisky. Speyside distillery Miltonduff exists nearly a century and its whisky often appears as an independent bottling. Like this 12 year old, 62.6% (!) strong edition.

Cley Whisky Dutch Single Malt Whisky - 40%

And yet another batch of single malt whisky from the Cley distillery in the Dutch city of Rotterdam. Triple distilled, and bottled at a strength of 40%. Matured in an ex-bourbon cask and finished in toasted new American oak. Intense and full of flavour.

Old Forester Straight Bourbon - 86 Proof

The label calls the Old Forester the 'first bottled bourbon.' In any case, this Kentucky Straight bourbon whiskey was made as early as 1870. In those days you could also write bourbon whiskey without an 'e'. They still do that with Old Forester. At 43%.

Writers' Tears Single Pot Still

The Writer's Tears bottlings pay homage to 19th century Irish whiskey. That certainly also applies to this edition of the Walsh Whiskey distillery. It is a genuine Irish triple-distilled single pot still whiskey. Matured in various cask types. (46%)

Cley Whisky Malt & Rye - 46%

In addition to single malt whisky, the Rotterdam Cley Distillery also makes whisky based on malt and rye. The Whisky is distilled three times according to a 17th century recipe. This is a new batch of this Malt & Rye. 3 years old and bottled at 46% ABV.

Royal Brackla 2011 Duncan Taylor

Long ago, Royal Brackla's single malt whisky was the first malt used in the 'invention' of the blended whisky. But you can still taste Brackla whisky in its pure form. Like this 10-year-old bottling by Duncan Taylor that matured in a sherry cask. 53.8%
