Dailuaine 10-year-old James Eadie

This Dailuaine single malt whisky is finished in good old European oak Oloroso sherry casks. It matured for a total of 10 years before being bottled by James Eadie at 48.3% as a tribute to the Speyside whisky region. For a great price!

Dailuaine 1997 Signatory Vintage - Casks 7764 + 7765

The color of this single malt whisky suggests that it matured in sherry casks, the label refers to two hogsheads, which usually indicates bourbon casks. Anyway, this Dailuaine matured for 24 years in those casks and was bottled at cask strength: 57.6%.

Dailuaine 2007 Douglas Laing

Until 2024, bottlings appeared in Douglas Laing's Single Minded series a few times a year. In 2014, this Dailuaine single malt whisky, which matured for 7 years in a sherry cask, was released. It is a malt with notes of fruit, sweet malt and fudge. 41.5%

Dailuaine 2008 Alistair Walker Whisky Company

The colour of this whisky reveals that it has been finished in a Pedro Ximénez cask. The Dailuaine single malt whisky bottled by Alistair Walker also has clear PX characteristics in the nose and taste, such as dark chocolate and raisins. (16y, 54.4%)

Dailuaine 2009 Ultimate - Bourbon Hogsheads

Although one of the larger single malt whisky distilleries in the Speyside, Dailuaine is not very well known. They hardly release distillery bottlings. So we have to look at bottlers like Van Wees, with this 13-year-old dram, for example, bottled at 46%.

Dailuaine 2011 Chapter 7

Dailuaine has hardly ever released bottlings of their own product, but it is one of the larger distilleries in the Speyside. To get to know this single malt whisky better, this Chapter 7 bottling is very suitable. It aged for 11 years in a bourbon cask.

Dallas Dhu 1974 Jack Wiebers Whisky World

After an eventful existence, the Dallas Dhu distillery closed in 1983, after which fewer and fewer bottlings of this single malt whisky were released in the following years. In 2007, there was this Jack Wiebers bottling, 32 years old, bourbon-aged, 51.1%.

Dalmore 12-year-old

Of course it's not about the bottle, but the bottle of this Dalmore 12 single malt whisky really is impressive! The whisky itself is a Dalmore core bottling and with its nice balance and complexity a good example of what Dalmore has to offer. (40%)

Dalmore 18-year-old - Bottled 2018

There is a lot to smell and taste in this 18 year old Highlander. After maturing in white oak bourbon casks, this Dalmore was finished for 4 years on special old Matusalem sherry casks. And you can taste it. The single malt-whisky is bottled at 43%.

Dalwhinnie 15-year-old

This 15 year old Highlander is a great introduction to the world of single malts. Also known as the 'honey malt', this Dalwhinnie combines fruity sweetness with the rich aromas of a long maturation. At a nice price. At 43%.

Dalwhinnie Winter's Gold

A bottling specially released by Dalwhinnie Distillery for the wintertime. This single malt whisky has been aged in casks of American and European oak. A sweet and fruity dram with woody notes. For under the Christmas tree!

Deanston 10-year-old - Bordeaux Finish

A special bottling from Highland distillery Deanston. The special thing is the finish: the single malt whisky has matured for a while in casks in which red burgundy previously matured. That gives this 10-year-old malt extra fruity notes. At 46.3% ABV.

Deanston 15-year-old - Tequila Cask Finish

Here's another special edition from Highland-distillery Deanston. They previously released 15-year-old bottlings that were finished in Marsala or Sauternes casks; here the single malt whisky was finished in Tequila casks. And that is quite special! 52.5%

Deanston Virgin Oak

Matured in virgin oak casks, this timeless Deanston, but with not too much of the sharpness that new oak brings to whisky. This is a light, not very complex malt with notes of vanilla, honey, spices, fresh sawdust. At 46.3%.

Deanston Virgin Oak Cask Strength

This single malt whisky from the southern Highland distillery Deanston is finished in new oak casks for up to a year and then bottled at a cask strength of 58.5%. A waxy mouthfeel with notes like butterscotch, honey, pudding, green apple and wood.

Dingle Single Malt - Core Range

With this Single Malt, the young Irish Dingle Whiskey Distillery launches its first standard edition. The single malt whisky, three times distilled, aged 6 to 7 years on average, matured in bourbon (39%) and PX sherry casks (61%) and was bottled at 46.3%.

Duvel Moortgat 10-year-old

The Duvel Moortgat Brewery is known for its beer, but sometimes, it also distils whisky. This Celebration Bottle was released in 2023. The 10-year-old, bourbon and sherry-aged, marsala-finished single malt whisky was bottled in this nice bottle at 40%.

Edradour 10-year-old - 43% Edition

With only three men staff, Edradour is one of the smallest Scottish distilleries. This 10-year-old Distillery Edition, with notes of honey, heather, and citrus, is a fine example of their single malt. Previous editions were bottled at 40%, this one at 43%

Edradour 12-year-old - Caledonia

The cask from which this bottling of an Edradour single malt whisky came was selected by songwriter Dougie Maclean. The bottling is named after his song Caledonia. Incidentally, it was an Oloroso sherry cask, on which the malt matured for 12 years. (46%)

Edradour 2014 Signatory Vintage

The label features the Edradour logo, with the indication above that this is a bottling from Signatory Vintage's Un-Chillfiltered Collection. Either way, this is a perfectly sherried, very drinkable 10-year-old Edradour single malt whisky. (46%)

Edradour 2014 Ultimate

And yet another strongly sherried Edradour single malt whisky from bottler Van Wees. And again in their Cask Strength series. This malt from the Southern Highlands aged for 10 years in an active sherry cask and is bottled at 59.3%.

Fettercairn 12-year-old

Some call this a 'summer whisky' or aperitif because of its light, fruity and uncomplicated character. This 12-year-old single malt whisky from Highland distillery Fettercairn matured in bourbon barrels and is bottled at 40%.

Fettercairn 2008 Archives - 56.3%

The two-century-old Fettercairn distillery in the East Highlands is not well-known. Yet their stills sometimes produce surprisingly good bottlings. This is an Archives bottling from 2022. The single malt whisky aged in a bourbon cask for 13 years. (56.3%)
