This Macallan Speymalt was bottled in 2024 by Gordon & MacPhail after 23 years of maturation in a specially selected refill sherry cask. Notes of orange, stewed fruit, cinnamon, dark chocolate, Medjool dates, and more. Bottled at 58.8% cask strength.
The Speymalt series by Gordon & MacPhail is less well known than their other series, but special bottlings appear in this one too, often of Macallan single malt whisky. For example, this one that matured for 20 years in an exquisite sherry cask. (55%)
