Coleburn 1979 Rare Malts Selection - bottle 4182

The name Coleburn, in relation to single malt whisky, no longer means much to many people. The Speyside Distillery closed in 1985 and there have never appeared many bottlings of their whisky. That makes this 21-year-old Rare Malts edition unique! (59.4%)

Connemara Original

For those who want to get acquainted with a peated Irish single malt whiskey. This Connemara Original drinks away easily and is modestly smoky. An 'entry-level whiskey', also considering the price.

Connemara 12-year-old

This peated Irish whiskey from the Cooley Distillery is a great introduction to smoky single malt. With a nice balance between peat and smoke, light spiciness, honey, heather and even a hint of gasoline, this is a pleasant alternative to blended whisky.

The cask from which this Connemara single malt whisky was bottled in 2008 was selected by Guy Boyen of the Belgian Tasttoe. The Irish peated single malt had matured for 15 years in that (bourbon) cask and was bottled at a cask strength of 58.5%.

Connemara Distillers Edition

A peated Irish single malt whiskey that has been distilled 2 instead of 3 times, and then matured in bourbon and sherry casks. You don't often come across drams like this Connemara,! And then it is also a nice drinkable, well-balanced whisky!

Convalmore 1977 - Diageo Special Releases 2013

Where can you come across bottles like this anymore? Well, with us! Some still mourn the closing of the Convalmore Distillery in 1985. Rightly so! This 36-year-old Convalmore single malt whisky can certainly soothe that sadness! (bottled at 58.4%)

Cotswolds Distillery 2017 Odyssey Barley

The young English Cotswolds Distillery released this limited edition 2017 Odyssey Barley in 2021. The single malt whisky was distilled from barley from the region and matured in specially selected first fill bourbon and red wine casks. Bottled at 46%.

Cragganmore 12-year-old

A mild, fruity and 'modest' Speysider, this Cragganmore 12. No spectacle in your glass, but a balanced complexity. Fruit and heather, a hint of grains, honey, toffee and the spiciness of oak. A dram to give a chance!

Craigellachie 17-year-old

Rich in taste, light, creamy oak, grassy, plums, fruit, complex woody ... the reviews tumble over each other. There is a lot to taste in this 17-year-old Craigellachie single malt whisky that matured in casks of American oak. At 46%.

Craigellachie 1973 Rare Malts Selection - bottle 4293

From the 1990s to 2017, producer Diageo presented whiskies from their distilleries that hardly released bottlings or were already closed. This is a 22-year-old Craigellachie single malt with vintage 1973. The distillery released no bottlings itself then.

Craigellachie 2009 Gordon & MacPhail

A 22-year-old, high-scoring Dailuaine single malt whisky from 1973, bottled in 1996 as a Rare Malts edition for the American market. Despite twenty years of aging in wood, it has retained much of its strength, with an astonishing cask strength of 60.92%.

Dallas Dhu 1975 Rare Malts Selection - bottle 5312

A real old, rare bottle now. This Dallas Dhu single malt whisky was bottled in 1997 (61.9% ABV) long after the distillery closed. The very good scoring dram is now in our shop for a competitive price. Take your chance!

Dalmore 12-year-old

Deanston 15-year-old - Tequila Cask Finish

Here's another special edition from Highland-distillery Deanston. They previously released 15-year-old bottlings that were finished in Marsala or Sauternes casks; here the single malt whisky was finished in Tequila casks. And that is quite special! 52.5%

Deanston 15-year-old Organic

The label does not inform us on this matter, but we assume that 'Organic' refers to organic barley. Furthermore, this 15-year-old Deanston single malt whisky is an excellent example of the honey-flower-malt character of this Highland distillery.

Deanston Virgin Oak

Matured in virgin oak casks, this timeless Deanston, but with not too much of the sharpness that new oak brings to whisky. This is a light, not very complex malt with notes of vanilla, honey, spices, fresh sawdust. At 46.3%.
