'Finealta' is Gaelic for 'elegant', and this 2010 bottling from Glenmorangie certainly is! The single malt whisky matured in Oloroso sherry casks and American oak casks. Creamy and full in the mouth with fruity, wood, vanilla and sherry notes. (46%)
Glenmorangie is one of the pioneers of whisky finishing. This bottle is an excellent example of this: we estimate that it was bottled sometime in the 1990s, as the label also indicates. The single malt whisky is finished in sherry casks. (43%)

At the end of 2014, the Glenmorangie Distillery bottled in the Legends series this The Duthac, named after a Scottish pilgrimage. The single malt whisky matured partly in Pedro Ximénez and virgin oak casks. A lightly sherried dram. (46%)
Maris Otter barley was developed in the 1960s for beer brewing. In the 1970s, it was even the most popular barley for brewing, but it disappeared from view for various reasons until Glenmorangie released a single malt whisky made from this barley in 2014!
The quirky distillery Glenmorangie releases with this X a single malt whisky that is specially made for mixing. The X is characterized by strong, sweet notes from the bourbon and new oak casks on which it matured. For in your cocktails. Bottled at 40%.
Gordon & MacPhail had this Glenrothes single malt whisky mature for 11 years in their own sherry casks. You can therefore see this bottling as a co-production of distiller and bottler. The result is a pleasantly drinkable, fruity dram with sherry notes.
If you like sweet and fruit, a little spicy, then this 12-year-old standard Glenrothes comes into the picture. Matured in sherry casks, filled at 40%, and at a reasonable price, this Speyside malt is a good choice.

The list of top bottlings that The Whisky Agency has released over the years certainly includes this Glenrothes single malt, a joint bottling with The Whisky Exchange from 2017. The Speysider matured for 20 years in a sherry cask. (51.3%; score: 89.7)
Taiwanese Whisky AGE has not been around as a bottler for very long yet but has already built up a good name. One of their latest bottlings is this Glenrothes single malt whisky. The Speysider matured in a bourbon cask for 23 years and is bottled at 55.1%
This Glenrothes, one of the more famous Speyside single malts, matured for 24 years, according to the label in a bourbon cask, before being bottled by Fragrant Drops in 2025. Rumour has it that it actually matured in a sherry cask. Can you taste it? (48%)
Bottler and whisky promoter The Whisky Baron released this Glenrothes single malt in 2019. The Speysider matured for 12 years in a first-fill sherry cask. The sherry influences are clearly present, but the Glenrothes character remains intact. (57%)
Alistair Walker launched a new series of Infrequent Flyers at the end of 2025. This is one of them: a 16-year-old Glenrothes. The single malt was finished in a Moscatel cask for no less than 6 years, resulting in a robust whisky full of flavour. (58.1%)
With this Glenrothes, you have a beautifully sherried whisky at a favourable price. The single malt aged for 14 years in a 1st-fill sherry cask before being bottled at 59.9%. Notes like stewed fruit, warm spices, milk chocolate, and blackberries. (59.9%)
