This 10-year-old 'Viking Scars' is a bottling in the new core series of Highland Park. The distillery profile is recognizable: a hint of smoke, heather and honey and subtle sherry tones. At around 40%, this is an easy drinkable single malt.

Already 9 years ago this 18 year old Highland Park single malt whisky was bottled. This is a standard bottling from the distillery. It still produces an 18-year-old standard malt. This is a nice option to compare them. Is there a significant difference?

The young, promising Taiwanese bottler Scout Drinks is releasing a Highland Park single malt whisky that has matured for 22 years in an ex-bourbon hogshead. The cask yielded 258 bottles, bottled at a cask strength of 51.4% ABV.

For this money perhaps the best blended whisky that can be found! If the cheaper blends quickly give a watery, flat impression, this Highland Queen is quite full of aroma and taste and can compete with some sherried single malts. A real bargain!
Due to a vatting error at a northern Highland distillery, Living Souls is able to offer us this bottling of a 'mostly unpeated' single malt from that distillery, blended with a small amount of the distillery's peated malt. (16 years old; 52.1% ABV).

The curtain finally fell on the Imperial Speyside distillery, which dates back to 1897, in 1998, and new bottlings of this single malt whisky are hardly released anymore. Fortunately, we have one from 2009 on offer! 19 years old, at 53.9%.
The oystercatcher is the symbol of the single malt whisky bottlings of Speyside distillery Inchgower. The bird features prominently on the label of this bottling from Thompson Bros. The malt matured for no less than 27 years in 2 bourbon casks. (52.3%)
