In 2018, Benromach Distillery released an Exclusive Single Cask bottling to celebrate the Piping at Forres festival. It is a 9-year-old single malt whisky matured in a first-fill bourbon cask and bottled at a robust cask strength of 60.8%.
In 2017, Cadenhead's Authentic Collection released a bottling of a 26-year-old Bladnoch single malt whisky. This malt from the 'Queen of the Lowlands' aged in a bourbon cask and is bottled at 49%. An oily, buttery dram with lots of fruit, honey and nuts.
This Committee Release was the starting shot in 2008 for the legendary Supernova series of Ardbeg. Intense, a complex aroma and taste palette, oily and, of course, the unmistakable Ardbegian peat smoke. A collector's item. (2400 bottles at 58.9%)
This Ardbeg Day single malt whisky was released in 2012 in a limited edition for 'Ardbeg members'. A truly special bottling, because the whisky was finished in sherry casks in which Ardbeg Uigeadail had previously matured! A collector's item! (56.7%)
In 2017, Loch Lomond Distillery released a single cask bottling of a 14-year-old Inchmurrin single malt whisky for the Dutch club De Wijnproevers. The Highland malt was finished in a Sauternes cask and bottled in 270 bottles at 52.8% cask strength.
Is the 'regular' Ardbeg Very Young already a special bottling as one of the first under new ownership, this Committee Reserve is a limited edition, intended for 'members' of Ardbeg. Incidentally, it is the 60th whisky on Whiskybase. (6y, 58.9%)
More and more whisky lovers are getting a taste for the Staoisha single malt whisky, the peated Bunnahabhain version. For them, this Le Gus't bottling is a great option. The Staoisha matured for 11 years on a first-fill bourbon cask. (56.0% cask strength)
Dat het Franse Le Gus't kwaliteit levert met z'n whiskybottelingen wordt ook met deze 16 jaar oude Teaninich weer eens bevestigd. De Highland single malt-whisky, vooral gestookt voor de blend-industrie, rijpte op een bourbonvat en is gebotteld op 53,7%.
Le Gus't always scores very high with its whisky bottlings, and that will be no different for this bottling. It is a 13-year-old Ben Nevis single malt whisky. The Highlander aged in a bourbon cask, from where it was released in 303 bottles at 56.6%.
The combined influence of bourbon and manzanilla casks gives this Ardbeg Ardbog bottling depth and complexity. This 10-year-old heavily peated Islay single malt whisky balances rich, salty tones with softer, sweeter elements. At 52.1% cask strength.
The Aligator? Isn't that a special bottling from the Ardbeg Distillery? Yes, and this Aligator is a special special bottling: it is a bottling for the 'members' of Ardbeg, in a limited edition. Firmly peated and robust, and bottled at 51.2%.
Le Gus’t has previously treated us to some exceptional Burnside editions, among many other notable releases. So when we heard about this 35-year-old, fino-cask-matured bottling of the teaspooned Balvenie, we knew immediately: we must have this one! 53.8%
Ten years ago, Malts of Scotland selected and bottled this Ardbeg single malt whisky for the Dunes An Oir label of the Dutch liquor store Van Zuylen. The heavily peated Islay malt matured for 17 years in a sherry cask and was bottled at 58.9%.
The Ardbeg Distillery is one of those distilleries that gave Islay the name of Peated Whisky Island. This Alligator edition (2011) is a good example of the peated single malt whiskies from Ardbeg. Powerful, smoke and ash, salty, sweet, fruit and spicy.
One of the first four hundred whiskies registered in the Whiskybase and, therefore, a special bottle, this Ardbeg Very Young. Due to its youthful age and the year of release, this single malt whisky is even a collector's item. Bottled at 58.3%.

In the new Caramel Malt series of the young Danish Thy Whisky Distillery, this bottling appeared in 2025. The 4-year-old single malt whisky matured in PX, oloroso and bourbon casks and was bottled in a limited edition at a cask strength of 54.5%.
Curious about a smoky Danish single malt whisky? Then take your chance now with this Bøg from the Thy Whisky Distillery. The malt for this whisky was dried over a beech wood fire. The whisky matured in sherry casks. Rich, meaty, dried fruit. (50%)
We are always happy to offer bottles like this. This one is a 30-year-old Talisker from 2010, a Diageo Special Release. The peated single malt whisky from Skye matured in American and European oak casks. It scores over 91 points on Whiskybase. (57.3%)
Every now and then a bottle of this Port Ellen bottling from Signatory Vintage turns up, but rarely for a price like now with us! The Islay single malt whisky matured for 25 years in a bourbon cask from where it was bottled at a remarkably solid 60.1%.
Every once in a while we have one in the shop, a Port Ellen. And now it's that time again! On the shelf is now a Port Ellen 8th Release, a Diageo Special Release. The almost legendary Islay single malt whisky matured for no less than 29 years. (55.3%)
