A pleasant and fairly complex standard bottling, this Founder’s Reserve from Glen Garioch. This malt combines the tones and tastes of the spirit and the bourbon and sherry casks on which it matured in a surprising way. At 48%.
Not very well known, the Speyside distillery Glen Elgin, but with this 12-year-old standard bottling they present a nice and affordable 'entry-level' single malt. Not too heavy, not too complex, and therefore very pleasant to drink. At 43%.
If you want a bourbon for a reasonable price that exceeds the average bourbon whiskeys , then this Eagle Rare is for you: a single barrel bottling, aged 10 years in new American oak. He has everything a good bourbon must have.
Matured in virgin oak casks, this timeless Deanston, but with not too much of the sharpness that new oak brings to whisky. This is a light, not very complex malt with notes of vanilla, honey, spices, fresh sawdust. At 46.3%.
A peated Irish single malt whiskey that has been distilled 2 instead of 3 times, and then matured in bourbon and sherry casks. You don't often come across drams like this Connemara,! And then it is also a nice drinkable, well-balanced whisky!
This 15 year old Highlander is a great introduction to the world of single malts. Also known as the 'honey malt', this Dalwhinnie combines fruity sweetness with the rich aromas of a long maturation. At a nice price. At 43%.
Give this 14-year-old Highlander the time to develop in the glass. You will then be rewarded with the typical Clynelish profile: waxy, honey, oranges, mint and pepper. Just to name a few. This bottle offers great value for money.
A bottling specially released by Dalwhinnie Distillery for the wintertime. This single malt whisky has been aged in casks of American and European oak. A sweet and fruity dram with woody notes. For under the Christmas tree!
A mild, fruity and 'modest' Speysider, this Cragganmore 12. No spectacle in your glass, but a balanced complexity. Fruit and heather, a hint of grains, honey, toffee and the spiciness of oak. A dram to give a chance!
This peated Irish whiskey from the Cooley Distillery is a great introduction to smoky single malt. With a nice balance between peat and smoke, light spiciness, honey, heather and even a hint of gasoline, this is a pleasant alternative to blended whisky.
This standard whiskey from Bushmills is ideal for drinking with friends or in Irish Coffee. Certainly considering the price!
This Distillers Edition has matured on bourbon casks and is finished on port casks. So you will find the typical fruit tones and the color of port in this Gragganmore. At 40%.
A nice example of the distillery character, this 12-year-old Caol Ila. Tough and yet subtle, and nicely balanced with the smoke and peat notes typical of Caol Ila. A good and affordable entry into the world of 'peated' Islay whisky.
A nice introduction to bourbon whiskey, this standard bottle from Bulleit Distillery Co. A friendly price for a nice, not too complex bourbon. And then gives the extra rye in the recipe this bourbon whiskey also its own character.
[SMALL BOTTLE] Ballechin is the peated malt whisky from the Highland distillery Edradour. This 10-year-old has a strong peat and smoke aroma and an extensive palette of cask influences. This small bottle could be a nice gift!
Ardmore 12 year old and finished on port casks. Giving this whisky an additional sweetness.
This anCnoc is part of the core assortment of the Knockdhu distillery. Bottled at 40% and for a reasonable price, this Highlander offers an aroma profile of malt, honey and wild flowers, with notes of beeswax, nutmeg and herbs.
Aberfeldy 16 year old bottled at 40%. Easy to drink with a typical profile. Butterscotch, raisins, honey, oranges and some spices.
