A 37-year-old Caol Ila with a vintage year of 1981! Now we are really talking about an 'old school' whisky. The peated Islay single malt matured in a bourbon cask. Full and rich, round and powerful, with a subtle peat smoke and maritime elements. (53.4%)
With the Teuchter bottlings, Decadent Drinks aims to celebrate the wild spirit of the Highlands with modern, lively single malts. For example, with this 18-year-old, very drinkable, well-balanced Tomatin, which matured in a sherry cask. (47.2% ABV)
The whisky in this bottling is not as old as the label suggests, but with 27 years of cask maturation, this Ardmore single malt certainly has a respectable age. The lightly peated Highland whisky matured in a refill and a 2nd-fill PX cask. (52.8%)
In 2026, this 20-year-old Bruichladdich appeared in Decadent Drinks' Old Islay series. It is actually a blend of a 20-year-old and a 23-year-old single malt, one matured in a first-fill bourbon, the other in a first-fill Sauternes cask. (53%)
Japanese bottler T&T Toyama already has several 'young' bottlings to its name. This is one of them: a single malt whisky from the Shindo Distillery, founded in 2021, which approaches whisky-making almost as a science. (3-years-old, bourbon-aged, 63%)
In its Episode 0 series, bottler T&T Toyama releases this young single malt, the spirit of which flowed from the custom-designed stills of the Ontake Distillery, active since 2019. The whisky matured for over 3 years in a 1st-fill bourbon cask. (59.3%)
The Japanese Eigashima Shuzo distillery has held a whisky distillation license since 1919, but they have only been using it for 2 months a year since 1984. In 2025, this 3 years young bourbon-aged Eigashima single malt whisky was released. (59.1% ABV)
We have some fine Caperdonich bottlings and this one from Duncan Taylor from 2010 is definitely one of them! The Speyside single malt whisky, vintage year 1972, matured no less than 38 years in a bourbon cask. A classic fruit bomb bottled at 51.8%.
This is a Kilkerran single-cask bottling in honour of the 15th anniversary of the (re)opening of Campbeltown distillery Glengyle (2004). The creamy single malt whisky matured for those 15 years in a rum cask and is bottled at a cask strength of 53.2%.
In 2004, the Glengyle Distillery reopened after a renovation. In that year, the spirit for this Kilkerran single malt flowed from the new stills and was aged for 15 years, first in a first-fill oloroso cask and then for five years in a bourbon cask. 52.6%
Unlike many other Speyside distilleries, Glenrothes released quite some distillery bottlings. The 10- and 12-year-old editions are well-known. In 2024, the distillery released this 18-year-old single malt that matured in 'sherry seasoned oak casks'. (43%)
In 2015, this bottle was filled by hand by a visitor to the Glendronach Distillery. The cask from which it was filled contained a perfectly sherried single malt whisky over 20 years old. An exemplary Glendronach at 58.1% cask strength. (score: 91 points)

When you say Highland whisky, you say Ben Nevis. Two centuries ago, the distillery opened its doors in the Highlands. Over the years, Ben Nevis established its name as a quality whisky. See this 21-year-old, bourbon-aged Cadenhead bottling. (52.9%)
This Dalmore single malt whisky matured for 17 years in various, sometimes very rare, casks. To name just a few: 30-year-old Matusalem Oloroso and Amoroso and Apostoles sherry casks, but also ex-bourbon casks. A refined, complex flavour profile! (42%)
Inchgower malt whisky is found in blends like Johnnie Walker, but you rarely see it as a single malt. That is why it is good to have bottlers like James Eadie. Here, for a great price, they are releasing an 18-year-old, bourbon-aged Inchgower. (52.5%)
