Bushmills, the world's oldest licensed distillery, released this Three Woods in 2023. The 21-year-old Irish single malt whisky matured in three types of casks: 18 years in bourbon and oloroso casks, and then another 3 years in marsala casks. (46%)

Yellowstone Special Finishes Collection - Toasted

The Limestone Branch Distillery distils bourbon whisky in the traditional way. In their Special Finishes Collection, they release bourbon with, as the name suggests, a special finish. For this edition, the bourbon was finished with toasted staves. (50%)

Yellowstone 06-year-old - 53.3%

This Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey is distilled according to old traditions by two descendants of the Beam family. This 6-year-old Yellowstone matured in American white oak casks and was bottled at 53.5% to achieve a perfect bourbon flavour profile.

Burnside 1989 Spheric Spirits

The Clydeside Distillery Napier

In 2018, The Clydeside Distillery opened its doors in Glasgow. In 2024, they released this single malt whisky that had matured for 6 years in oloroso casks. For a very reasonable price, you get a pleasantly sherried, Lowland-style whisky. (46%)

The Clydeside Distillery Fortnight

The artisanal Clydeside Distillery in Glasgow distils with peated malt for only two weeks a year. Naturally, this results in a single malt whisky with peaty and smoky notes: the Fortnight, a whisky with excellent value for money! (46% ABV)

Staoisha 2013 Maltbarn

Since its founding in 2012, Maltbarn has built a good reputation as a bottler. With the new Fractals bottling series, quality is once again the top priority. This 12-year-old, bourbon-aged Staoisha (peated Bunnahabhain) was released in that series. 53.3%

Craigellachie 2011 Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers

This 14-year-old Craigellachie appeared in Càrn Mòr's Strictly Limited series. Although the distillery is in production since the late 19th century, its whisky is only now gaining more recognition. This release matured in a fino sherry cask. (47.5%)

The Islay Connection 2015 North Star Spirits
