To celebrate their 10th anniversary, bottler North Star Spirits is releasing, among others, this 19-year-old Glenxxxxxxx (read 'farclas' for xxxxxxx), matured in a refill sherry cask. The Speyside single malt whisky was bottled in February 2026 at 59.0%.
You don't see that very often: an Irish single grain whisky finished in Rioja wine casks. But here, Teeling Whiskey Distillery presents one in their Small Batch series as Sommelier Selection 7. A pleasant, full-bodied grain whisky at a great price! (46%)

Allt-á-Bhainne Distillery was established as a malt whisky supplier for Chivas Regal, among others. Almost all single malt bottlings come from independent producers, such as this 20-year-old from Infrequent Flyers. Finished in an Italian wine cask. 59.1%
Inchfad is a peated single malt whisky from the Loch Lomond Distillery. The whisky in this Infrequent Flyers bottling matured for more than half of its 9 years in a virgin oak cask. This gives this youthful dram a full and intense character. (58.5% ABV)
This Mannochmore single malt whisky matured for a total of 17 years, of which over four years were spent in a refill ruby port cask. Alister Walker Whisky Company subsequently bottled the Speysider in 221 bottles at 50.4% cask strength. Released in the
Alistair Walker launched a new series of Infrequent Flyers at the end of 2025. This is one of them: a 16-year-old Glenrothes. The single malt was finished in a Moscatel cask for no less than 6 years, resulting in a robust whisky full of flavour. (58.1%)
In 2024, the year of their founding, the Saltire Rare Malt Whisky Company bottled this BenRiach single malt whisky. The Speysider matured for 14 years in a refill bourbon cask and is bottled at 48.8% ABV. It is an elegant and unexpectedly complex dram.
This Limited Release (319 bottles) from Saltire is a 15-year-old Benrinnes single malt whisky that matured in a first-fill bourbon cask. Give it some time to open up; floral notes, ripe banana, furniture polish, cinnamon and honey will follow. (48.8%)
This is the fifth edition from bottler Saltire, released in 2024. It is a Dailuaine single malt, a whisky from Speyside. The malt matured for 14 years in a first-fill bourbon cask, a hogshead, yielding 299 bottles at a cask strength of 48.8% ABV.
You can come to us for a very reasonable price if you are in the mood for a 15-year-old Glentauchers single malt whisky that matured in a refill bourbon cask and has notes such as vanilla biscuits, milk chocolate, beef broth, and a hint of citrus. (48.8%)
This is already the 17th release from the Scottish bottler Saltire Rare Malt, which started in 2024. It is a single-cask bottling of Royal Brackla single malt whisky. The Highland malt matured for 16 years in a refill bourbon cask and is bottled at 50.7%.
With the Spirit of Scotland series, Gordon & MacPhail offers whisky with excellent value for money. This Bunnahabhain single malt matured for 10 years in a first-fill sherry cask. The whisky features notes of raspberry, blueberry, and butterscotch. 60.5%
This Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey is distilled according to old traditions by two descendants of the Beam family. The Yellowstone Select is a blend of 4- and 7-year-old bourbons. Vanilla and caramel, sweet, spicy, blood orange, a hint of smoke. 46.5%
For the Dutch market, Berry Bros & Rudd bottled this Caol Ila single malt, of which it is immediately apparent that it is finished in an Oloroso cask. In total, the medium-peated Islay malt matured for 15 years before being bottled at 56.2% cask strength.
For a very reasonable price, you can bring home a Ledaig single malt that matured for 6 years in refill Oloroso and bourbon casks and was bottled by Signatory Vintage at 57.1% (= 100 proof). Ledaig is the peated whisky version from Tobermory Distillery.
With this Glenrothes, you have a beautifully sherried whisky at a favourable price. The single malt aged for 14 years in a 1st-fill sherry cask before being bottled at 59.9%. Notes like stewed fruit, warm spices, milk chocolate, and blackberries. (59.9%)
This 10-year-old Knockando single malt whisky matured in a refill bourbon barrel before this Speysider was bottled in 157 bottles at a cask strength of 57.0% by James Gordon Whisky Co. Ltd., and was brought to us by Gordon & MacPhail.
You don't often come across whisky from the Glen Spey Distillery, founded in 1878, as a single malt bottling; you find it mainly in blends. Fortunately, there are bottlings like this Spirit of Scotland: an 11-year-old, bourbon-aged Glen Spey. (57.4% ABV)
With the exception of two, Distillery Braeval has never released bottlings of its single malt whisky. Fortunately, independent bottlings are released regularly, allowing you to get to know and appreciate the fruity Speyside character of this malt. (60.5%)
Under the Gordon & MacPhail banner, James Gordon Whisky Co. bottled this Auchroisk single malt whisky in the Spirit of Scotland series. The Speysider aged for 11 years in a refill bourbon cask. Fresh and sweet citrus notes, pineapple, and honey. (57.5%)
Quality bottler Gordon & MacPhail has a favourably priced bottling series in Spirit of Scotland. In this series, this Tomatin single malt whisky was released in 2026. The Highlander matured in a refill bourbon cask and is bottled at 58.1% cask strength.
