Hemel & Hellevuur 2019 - Cask 19030

This Hemel & Hellevuur (Heaven & Hellfire) Dutch single malt whisky is bottled by 3006 Whisky. The whisky from the young Brabant distillery Bossche Stokers matured for 5 years in an Oloroso octave cask, and is bottled at a cask strength of 54.7%.

Hemel & Hellevuur 2020 - Cask 20080

This Hemel & Hellevuur Dutch single malt whisky was also bottled by 3006 Whisky. The whisky from the young Brabant Bossche Stokers aged for 4 years in a 2nd fill Palo-Cortado octave cask, which is clearly visible from the colour and was bottled at 60.9%.

High West Double Rye!

This bottling of the High West Distillery, America's Distillery of the Year in 2016, contains a blend of straight rye whiskeys. Earlier batches of this Double Rye! were well appreciated. For straight rye at least 51% of the used grains must be rye. (46%.)

Some have suggested it could be Ben Nevis, others mention Ardmore, but whichever Highland distillery this single malt whisky is from, it's certainly worth a look! The malt has been matured for 18 years in a refill bourbon cask and is bottled at 54.0% ABV.

Highland Park 10-year-old Viking Scars

This 10-year-old 'Viking Scars' is a bottling in the new core series of Highland Park. The distillery profile is recognizable: a hint of smoke, heather and honey and subtle sherry tones. At around 40%, this is an easy drinkable single malt.

Inchmoan 12-year-old - Rich Smoke and Spice

Inchmoan is a brand of the Loch Lomond Distillery, under which it releases a peated single malt whisky. This 'Rich Smoke and Spice' is a combination of spirit from the traditional pot still and the Loch Lomond still, aged for 12 years in bourbon casks.

Indri Agneya - Peated

This Indri Āgneyā proves once again that India produces excellent whisky. The single malt whisky is distilled from barley malt that was dried over a fire of regional peat, so expect a subtle smokiness. The malt matured in bourbon and sherry casks. (46%)

The young Indian distillery Piccadily, where among others a Scottish master distiller works, was awarded the title Best Indian Single Malt for one of its earlier bottlings. That makes you curious about this bourbon-matured Drú at cask strength (57.2%)

In 2011, Whiskybase.com launched the bottling brand Archives. To date, Archives has released over 230 bottlings that have scored high on average, with 87.5 points. In 2016, this 43-year-old Invergordon single grain whisky came out. (49.9%, 88.7 points)

Ireland 1989 Archives - 48.2%

In 2017, Archives bottled this Irish single malt whisky that had matured for 27 years in a bourbon barrel. The distillery from which this whisky comes is unknown, but the fact that this is a super dram is proven by the rating of over 90 points! (48.2%)
