Single malt whisky is a mixture of malt whisky from casks of the same distillery. Malt whisky is made from barley malt and distilled in pot stills, and has matured for at least 3 years in oak barrels. This whisky usually has a for the distillery characteristic flavor. Is considered the classic whisky.
In the APEX series, Tel Aviv's M&H Distillery releases this 3-year-old single malt whisky, aged in casks that previously held fortified red wine. The whisky is distilled from peated barley malt. An earthy dram with hints of peat smoke and tobacco. (55.3%)

This is a very special Millstone bottling: although Zuidam Distillers released its first Dutch Single Malt Whisky in 2007, the spirit for this edition went already in 1996 in the (Oloroso) cask! The whisky matured there for 19 years. (300 bottles, 49.4%)

Zuidam Distillers released its first Dutch Single Malt Whisky in 2007. Dozens of bottlings later, in 2015, there was this 5-year-old Millstone Lightly Peated. As the name suggests, this is a lightly peated single malt. Bottled at 40%.
This is Special Release #31 of Millstone Dutch single malt whisky from the Zuidam Distillery. And this bottling is certainly 'special', because the heavily peated whisky matured for 5 years in very rare, classic Palo Cortado sherry casks. (46%)
The Dutch Zuidam Distillers not only makes genever, liqueurs and gin, but also whisky. This is one of their single malt whiskies: the Millstone American Oak, made with both brewer's and distiller's yeast and matured in virgin American oak. (43%)
A successful example of a 'modern' sherryed single malt whisky, this 10-year-old Macduff from Gordon & MacPhail. Aroma and taste are uncomplicated, with clearly recognizable sherry tones. A pleasantly drinkable dram for an evening with friends!
This is the winter edition 2023 from the Equinox & Solstice series by Decadent Drinks. An 11-year-old Miltonduff single malt whisky that matured in a sherry cask. A comfortably warm dram, 'a wealth of warmth, ruddy fruits...', as the label says. (48.5%)
Cadenhead has had experience bottling whisky since 1850. Distillery Miltonduff has been distilling whisky since 1824, so this bottling is based on a total whisky experience of 375 years! A nice 15-year-old, bourbon-aged single malt for a nice price. (46%)

The Distillery Reserve Collection is a series of bottlings of special whiskies from Chivas Brothers distilleries, all at cask strength. This bottle is from a 2018 edition: a 16-year-old, bourbon-matured Miltonduff single malt whisky. (56.6%)
A joint bottling between bottler Acorn and ARen Trading, this Miltonduff single malt whisky. Speyside distillery Miltonduff exists nearly a century and its whisky often appears as an independent bottling. Like this 12 year old, 62.6% (!) strong edition.
With its 100 Proof series, bottler Signatory Vintage proves that good whisky doesn't have to be expensive. The series includes, for example, this 14-year-old Miltonduff single malt, matured in Oloroso sherry casks and bottled at 57.1% ABV (100 proof).

For a great price/quality ratio, you can definitely go to the 100 Proof series from Signatory Vintage. This is edition 24 in that series. It is an 8-year-old Miltonduff single malt whisky that matured in first-fill bourbon casks. It is bottled at 57.1%.
The Miyagikyo distillery of the Japanese Nikka not only makes grain whisky, but also single malt. Such as this ageless bottling, for which a special, aromatic yeast was used during production. Not complex, nutty, fruity and sweet and well-balanced. (47%)

Mortlach distils their spirit not two or three times, but 2.81 times, which gives the single malt whisky a profile of its own. Gordon & MacPhail is known as a very good bottler. When added together, this guarantees a fine dram. 24 years old and at 46%.
