Single malt whisky is a mixture of malt whisky from casks of the same distillery. Malt whisky is made from barley malt and distilled in pot stills, and has matured for at least 3 years in oak barrels. This whisky usually has a for the distillery characteristic flavor. Is considered the classic whisky.

This 14-year-old Balblair matured for thirteen years in bourbon casks from 1999 onwards and was then finished in oloroso casks. In the complex palate, the sherry influence is subtle and in balance with fruity notes of apple, orange, banana, and pear. 46%

In 1973, The Balvenie Distillery in Speyside began bottling their single malt whisky. And now, about fifty years later, the brand is in the top 10 of best-selling single malts. This Caribbean is a 14-year-old Balvenie finished on rum casks. At 43%.

The Taiwanese bottler The Whisky Blues already scored 90 points with a Ben Nevis bottling from 1996, now they released a Ben Nevis from 1995. The Highland single malt whisky matured in a sherry cask for 27 years and was bottled at cask strength (50.6%).
