This is one of the 7 first bottlings of Dutch bottler Roger's Whisky Company. An Aultmore single malt whisky that matured for 12 years in a bourbon cask. In addition to the fancyful label, the robust cask strength of this 63.5% bottling is also striking.

Aultmore 2010 Ultimate - Cask 900296

Most bottlings of Aultmore single malt whisky come from independent bottlers. That also applies to this release. Van Wees bottled this 11-year-old, bourbon-cask-aged Speysider in the The Ultimate series at 46%. For a nice price.

Ballechin 18-year-old - Cask Strength Edition

At 18 years old, the sharp edges are gone, but this Ballechin single malt whisky still has the smokiness characteristic of this brand. This is the first batch of an 18-year-old malt in the new Cask Strength series, bourbon matured, bottled at 50.9%.

Ballechin 2004 - 1st Fill Bourbon Barrels

Distilled from peated barley malt of at least 50 ppm, then matured for 20 years in specially selected first-fill bourbon casks and then bottled in 2016 bottles at a cask strength of 52.8%: it is an extra special Ballechin single malt whisky!

Ballechin 2005 - Burgundy Casks

For those who want to try something different: this Ballechin single malt whisky matured for 17 years in two Burgundy wine casks, which you do not often encounter. The peated Highlander from the Edradour Distillery was bottled at cask strength (53.5%)

Ballechin 2011 Ultimate - Cask 273

In 2003 Edradour released under the name Ballechin their first whisky distilled from peated barley malt. A smoky single malt whisky. For the series The Ultimate Van Wees bottled this 10-year-old Ballechin. It matured in a large sherry cask. Bottled at 46%

Ballindalloch 2016 Single Bourbon cask #31

In 2014, Guy Macpherson-Grant, a scion of a true whisky family, founded the small, quality-oriented Ballindalloch Distillery. The first single malts were released in 2023 and in 2024 among others this 8-year-old, bourbon-aged single cask bottling. (59.2%)

Balmenach 2008 Gordon & MacPhail

Balmenach distils single malt whisky in the typical Speyside style, with its own character. The distillery itself releases virtually no bottlings, so to taste this malt whisky, we have to rely on third-party bottlings like this one. (15 years, 61.8%)

Balvenie 12-year-old - Single Barrel 4568

This is a 12-year-old Balvenie single malt whisky from the Single Barrel series. The whiskies from this series have matured in first-fill bourbon casks, so in casks that have been used one time before: for maturing bourbon. The whisky is bottled at 47,8%.

Balvenie 12-year-old Doublewood

A new release of the 12-year-old Balvenie single malt whisky in the Double Wood series. Double Wood, that's what it says: first matured in bourbon vas's and then finished in sherry casks. This 12-year-old malt combines the best of both worlds! At 40%.

Balvenie 14-year-old Caribbean Cask

In 1973, The Balvenie Distillery in Speyside began bottling their single malt whisky. And now, about fifty years later, the brand is in the top 10 of best-selling single malts. This Caribbean is a 14-year-old Balvenie finished on rum casks. At 43%.

Banff 1974 Samaroli

To celebrate its 35th anniversary, the Italian quality bottler Samaroli released this almost 30-year-old, sherry-matured Banff single malt whisky in 2003. Banff whisky is already a collector's item, but this Samaroli edition is extra special! (45% ABV)

Ben Nevis 1995 The Whisky Blues

The Taiwanese bottler The Whisky Blues already scored 90 points with a Ben Nevis bottling from 1996, now they released a Ben Nevis from 1995. The Highland single malt whisky matured in a sherry cask for 27 years and was bottled at cask strength (50.6%).
