Strength

The Douglas Laing company started blending malt whisky in 1948. And since 1998, this Glasgow-based family business also releases single cask bottlings. With great success. Famous are their Old Malt Cask, Old Paricular, and Provenance series.
In addition, they still release blended malts. The popular Big Peat bottlings (Islay malts) and the Region Malts series. This under the motto: 'If a single malt is a violin, then a blended malt is an entire orchestra!'. All in all, Douglas Laing now has more than 5000 bottlings to his name.
