A limited edition bottling, that's the 2021 edition of this Bunnahabhain single malt whisky. It is 12 years old and matured in both sherry and bourbon casks. This resulted in a complex palette of dried fruit, vanilla, roasted nuts and maritime notes.
This 18-year-old single malt whisky, one of Bunnahabhain's flagships, is powerful but not overly sherried, not overly sweet. There's also a hint of peat smoke in the complex palate. Notable for a normally unpeated Islay malt. (46.3%)

The Bunnahabhain Distillery on whisky island Islay mainly produces non-peated single malt whisky, but they make also smoky drams. Take the Toiteach a Dhà (Gaelic for 'Smoky Two'), for example: matured in bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks. Bottled at 46.3%.

You don't often see whisky finished on Malaga casks, and certainly not Irish whisky. That makes this 14-year-old Bushmills single malt quite special. First, it matured in bourbon casks (1st fill + 2nf fill), and then for a year in Malaga casks. (40%)
Rare Irish Whiskey is the name of the series in which this Bushmill's single malt whiskey was released. This Irish single malt matured in bourbon, port and oloroso sherry casks for a total of 16 years before being bottled at 40% strength in 2021.

In 1608, the Irish Bushmills received its first distillery license. That year is also proudly printed on this bottling's label. Released for the Italian market, this blended whiskey matured in sherry casks. It is bottled at 40%.
This standard whiskey from Bushmills is ideal for drinking with friends or in Irish Coffee. Certainly considering the price!
In 2009, this Cameronbridge single grain whisky appeared in bottler Duncan Taylor's classic Rare Auld series. The Lowland grain (vintage 1978) had matured in a bourbon cask for 30 years and was bottled in 271 bottles at 54.3% cask strength.
This is an older Campbeltown Loch bottling (2013?), a 21-year-old blended Scotch whisky, so a mix of malt and grain whiskies. Interesting to compare with the newer Campbeltown Loch bottlings, which are blends of single malt whiskies. (40% ABV)
It is no longer possible to determine which whiskies are in this unique Cambeltown Loch blended Scotch whisky, but it certainly contains malts from the Springbank Distillery. The youngest of the constituent whiskies is no less than 25 years old. (40%)
For an excellent price, you can get all five Campbeltown single malt whiskies together in one bottle: Springbank, Hazelburn, Longrow, Glen Scotia and Kilkerran! The blend matured in bourbon and sherry casks, resulting in a mild, creamy and rich dram. 46%
James Eadie bottled this Caol Ila in 2026. The medium-peated Islay single malt matured for 8 years, of which the last 6 months in a Palo Cortado sherry cask made of European oak. That finish enriched the Caol Ila profile with subtle sweet notes. (48.3%)
A nice example of the distillery character, this 12-year-old Caol Ila. Tough and yet subtle, and nicely balanced with the smoke and peat notes typical of Caol Ila. A good and affordable entry into the world of 'peated' Islay whisky.
This Caol Ila bottling in the Discovery series by Gordon & MacPhail has aged for 13 years in clearly active bourbon casks. In this Islay single malt whisky you will find notes of vanilla, caramel, fruit and leather, and salty peat smoke and iodine.
The eighth Caol Ila bottling in Elixir Distillers’ Elements of Islay series was released in 2017. The single malt whisky was matured in five bourbon casks and bottled at 55.2% cask strength. It has received a score of about 86 points on Whiskybase so far.
We have some fine Caperdonich bottlings and this one from Duncan Taylor from 2010 is definitely one of them! The Speyside single malt whisky, vintage year 1972, matured no less than 38 years in a bourbon cask. A classic fruit bomb bottled at 51.8%.
The Cardhu Distillery was founded two centuries ago and supplies much of its malt whisky to blends (Johnnie Walker), but also releases single malt bottlings. This edition, however, comes from bottler James Eadie. (9 years, bourbon-aged, 52.4%)
