Kentucky Owl Confiscated

Kentucky Owl is a more exclusive bourbon, highly valued on average in, for example, the Whiskybase. Why this Confiscated in 1916 is so called is not immediately clear, but with notes such as gardenia, banana bread, grapes and sourdough, it is special.

Bulleit Rye

The '95' on the label of this Bulleit rye whiskey stands for the percentage of rye in the mash. And that is a lot. If you want to know what a real rye whiskey tastes like, then this American Bulleit is a good example. And that for a reasonable price!

Jefferson's Ocean - Aged at Sea

You don't often come across whiskies like this! This Jefferson's Ocean is a sea-aged blend of bourbon whiskies. The whisky sloshing in the casks and the temperature differences during the journey ensured a strong cask influence and rapid maturation. (45%)

Rock Town 2016 Berry Bros & Rudd

We never had a bourbon from the Rock Town Distillery in Little Rock, Arkansas in the shop before. Thanks to Berry Bros & Rudd we do now. Rocktown bourbon whiskey is crafted using local grains. This edition is 4 years old and bottled at cask strength.

Evan Williams Bottled-In-Bond

If you are looking for a fine, complex bourbon for a reasonable price, then this Evan Williams Bottled-in-Bond is an option! With a mash recipe of 78% corn, 10% rye and 12% barley malt and a minimum maturation of 4 years, this is a classic bourbon whiskey

Rebel Yell NAS - Small Batch Reserve

About 170 years ago, Rebel Yell already made bourbon whiskey from corn and wheat. And as this bourbon was made at the time, it is still made at Lux Row Distillers today. This Small Batch Reserve is said to have matured extra long. Bottled at 45.3%.

Michter's Bourbon

A special bottling for the French La Maison du Whisky, this Michter’s bourbon whiskey. We don't dare say how old this bourbon is, but that could be surprising. Michter's bourbon is made according to a recipe from 1753. (45.7%)

Rittenhouse Straight Rye Whiskey 100 Proof

Rittenhouse Straight Rye Whiskey is one of the types of American whiskey produced by Heaven Hill Distilleries Inc. As the name implies, Rittenhouse is made from rye. This bottling is 100 proof, so 50% ABV. For a nice price.

Michter's Single Barrel Straight Rye

According to our records, Michter’s Distillery is closed. But we still have this Single Barrel straight rye whiskey for the enthusiast. Woodchips, liquorice, maple and cough syrup are the dominant notes, with flowers and pepper underneath. 42.4%

High West American Prairie Bourbon

The High West Distillery started in Utah in 2006 as a small distillery. Meanwhile, it has grown into a producer of bourbon, rye and even oat whiskey, with dozens of employees. In 2016 it was named the best distillery in the US. Curious about this bottling

Westland American Single Malt - Thoughtfully Made

'Thoughtfully Made' is the motto of the Northwestern American Westland Distillery. You can read what they mean by that on the back label, but of course you can also just taste their single malt whisky (or 'whiskey' in American style) to find it out. (46%)

Balcones Baby Blue - BB22-1

The Balcones Baby Blue is the first Texan whisky since the Prohibition in the 1920s. Made from roasted 'blue corn', an oily kind of corn. Balcones Distilling deliberately makes a young but complex dram with this whisky. Bottled at 46% ABV.

Buffalo Trace

With Buffalo Trace bourbon whiskey you're always right: reliable quality, available everywhere and you get what you can expect from a bourbon: notes of vanilla, honey and toffee; a bit more spicy in the taste. In short, you get value for money!

Jack Daniel's Triple Mash - Bottled in Bond

Something different from the well-known Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey. This is a blend of American malt, rye whiskey, and that bourbon-like Tennessee whiskey. The blend matured for 4 years in charred American oak barrels in a certified warehouse. (50%)

Eagle Rare 10-year-old

If you want a bourbon for a reasonable price that exceeds the average bourbon whiskeys , then this Eagle Rare is for you: a single barrel bottling, aged 10 years in new American oak. He has everything a good bourbon must have.

Sazerac Straight Rye

Sazerac is a brand of rye whiskey from the Buffalo Trace Distillery (and it is the name of the family business that owns that distillery). This rye-based whisky is not complex, has its own character and body, and is pleasantly drinkable. (45%)

Heaven Hill 1996 Cadenhead's

We didn't have many World Whiskies from bottler Cadenhead's in the shop yet, so pay attention! This is a whisky from America, a bourbon from Heaven Hill Distilleries. The bourbon matured for no less than 23 years in an American oak barrel. (54.5% ABV)

High West Double Rye!

This bottling of the High West Distillery, America's Distillery of the Year in 2016, contains a blend of straight rye whiskeys. Earlier batches of this Double Rye! were well appreciated. For straight rye at least 51% of the used grains must be rye. (46%.)

Ezra Brooks 99

This is a Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey, traditionally distilled according to an original recipe, carbon-filtered for a smooth, mild character and bottled at 99 proof (49.5%). Slightly different from the well-known standard bourbons. Curious?

Knob Creek 07-year-old

Knob Creek Rye whiskey is distilled at the Jim Beam Distillery in Clermont, Kentucky in the pre-Prohibition style. Also, a high-end whiskey, this 7-year-old Kentucky Straight Rye. This Knob Creek is bottled at 50% ABV or 100º proof.

Woodford Reserve DS

For those who want to try bourbon whiskey, or those who want to go deeper than the standard bourbon, we can recommend the Woodford Reserve Distiller’s Select. Produced in the original way, in copper pot stills. And at a reasonable price.

Knob Creek Rye

The Knob Creek whiskeys are bottled at 100˚ proof (= 50% ABV). This also applies to this Knob Creek Rye whiskey. Yet the alcohol does not force itself. This is a mild rye whiskey with its own character. Also great for cocktails!

WhistlePig Homestock Crop No. 004

A special WhistlePig whiskey on several points. Normally, the WhistlePig bottlings are about straight rye whiskey. However, this Homestock is a blend of rye, wheat and barley whiskies designed in corona lockdown at home by fans of the brand! (43%)

Bulleit Bourbon

A nice introduction to bourbon whiskey, this standard bottle from Bulleit Distillery Co. A friendly price for a nice, not too complex bourbon. And then gives the extra rye in the recipe this bourbon whiskey also its own character.
