There's bourbon and there's bourbon. Well, this Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey from Elijah Craig is one to pay attention to! It was released in 2015 as the 7th edition in the Barrel Proof series after 12 years of maturation and at 64% cask strength!
Attention: an edition of the American Templeton Rye at cask strength! A bottling from 2020. The straight rye whiskey is nicely balanced at 56.55%. Sweet, nutty and lots of caramel, with an oily mouthfeel. You also taste herbs and orange liqueur.
