This Glen Scotia single malt is a release in honor of the 2025 Campbeltown Malts Festival, and what a release it is! The 9 year old Glen Scotia is heavily peated, and in addition, it is finished for five months in Ribera del Duero red wine casks! (54.3%)
After almost two and a half centuries of activity in the Lowlands, the Littlemill Distillery closed its doors in 1996. And some twenty years after that closure, Cadenhead released a 24-year-old, bourbon-matured bottling of the single malt whisky. (52.2%)
New bottlings from Littlemill Distillery, which closed in 1996, are rare. You have to rely on the supply of bottles from previous bottlings, such as this sublime edition. The Lowland single malt whisky matured for 24 years in a bourbon cask. (48% ABV)
This is a very well-produced Littlemill single malt whisky! It was released in 2014 in Berry's Own Selection by Berry Bros & Rudd after 21 years of maturation in a bourbon cask. White chocolate, honey, nectarines and other fruits, a hint of smoke. (53.2%)
The whisky from Orkney distillery Highland Park is a classic. Bottlings like this make it clear why! The single malt matured for 25 years in two bourbon casks before being bottled in 2015 at 50.6%. Harmonious, balanced, and rich in the well-known HP notes
This is one of those drams that you really have to sit down and sip. It is a 38-year-old Bunnahabhain bottling from Malts of Scotland. The (unpeated) Islay single malt whisky matured in a sherry cask and is bottled at a cask strength of 50.2% ABV.
This single malt whisky was distilled in an (unnamed) Islay distillery, according to bottler Maltbarn. The whisky then matured for 24 years in a sherry cask and was bottled at 51.8%. Incidentally, the label features an image of the Laphroaig Distillery.
This 21-year-old Springbank single malt whisky is one of the core bottlings from the quirky Campbeltown distillery, but it's certainly no standard dram! It matured in both sherry and bourbon casks and was bottled in 2015. Don't miss out! (46%)
Established in 2013, the artisanal Strathearn Distillery distils its single malt whisky from an old barley variety that yields less alcohol but more flavour. This Batch No.02 matured in bourbon, sherry and virgin oak casks. You have to taste it! (50%)
Naarangi is Hindi for orange. The Indian Amrut is not afraid to experiment: first they put orange peels in sherry casks, and then let 3-year-old single malt mature for 3 years in the emptied again casks. Curious? Give it a try! (50%)
Under the name Scallywag, bottler Douglas Laing releases blended malt whisky. This bottling was released in 2020 in the series The Chocolate Edition, and that is not without reason: it is a real sherry bomb with a rich arsenal of chocolate notes! (48%)

In 1828, Cameronbridge was the first distillery to make grain whisky, so they now have two centuries of experience! You can taste that in this 100 Proof-bottling from Signatory Vintage. The single grain matured for 12 years in a bourbon cask. (57.1%)
In 2023, the Aultmore Distillery released the Marsala Wine Cask Collection series: 15-year-old single malt whiskies finished in different Marsala casks. Exciting to compare the editions! This edition was finished in sweet Marsala casks. Bottled at 46%.
As the label indicates, this Dutch Single Malt Whisky from the Zuidam distillery matured for 10 years in Oloroso sherry casks. In 2019, Zuidam won gold with an Oloroso-matured malt at the Wizards of Whisky Awards. This bottling is no less! (46%)
Since 2007, Zuidam Distillers has been releasing rye whisky and Dutch single malt whisky bottlings under the Millstone label. A single malt released in 2024 is this 6-year-old dram matured in Oloroso sherry casks. At 46% and for a reasonable price.
The Dutch Zuidam Distillers not only makes genever, liqueurs and gin, but also whisky. This is one of their single malt whiskies: the Millstone American Oak, made with both brewer's and distiller's yeast and matured in virgin American oak. (43%)
The Zuidam Distillery produces various types of whisky, including single malt whisky. This can be unpeated malt or malt that has been distilled from peated barley malt. This is one of them. The malt matured in casks of virgin American oak. (43%)
This is a rye whisky from the Dutch distillery Zuidam. The '92' stands for the strength of this whisky: 92 proof (= 46%). The whisky is distilled in small pot stills from 49% malted and 51% unmalted rye and matured in virgin American oak casks.
Is the 'regular' Ardbeg Very Young already a special bottling as one of the first under new ownership, this Committee Reserve is a limited edition, intended for 'members' of Ardbeg. Incidentally, it is the 60th whisky on Whiskybase. (6y, 58.9%)
