Tullibardine 2007 Ultimate - Cask 800114

Tullibardine Distillery has been around for three-quarters of a century but has only been running at full capacity since 2008, including its own bottlings. But this is a Van Wees bottling. The single malt whisky aged for 15 years in a bourbon cask. (46%)

Tullibardine 2014 Thompson Bros.

Bottled in 2024 by Thompson Bros., this 10-year-old Tullibardine single malt whisky matured entirely in red wine casks. Ten years is long enough to soften the red wine tannins and bring the wine influence into balance with the whisky. (48.5% ABV)

Tullibardine 225 - Sauternes Cask Finish

Finished in Sauternes wine casks from Château Suduiraut, this Tullibardine single malt whisky develops beautiful, fruity, and sweet notes. There are also hints of peach, citrus, hay, beeswax, and white chocolate. A surprisingly complex dram. (43%)

Unnamed Islay Malt 1990 Signatory Vintage - Cask 4349

We do not know which Islay distillery produced this single malt whisky. What we do know is that it is a special, because 31 year old, Islay malt. And that it matured in a bourbon cask and was bottled at 51.9% cask strength. Are you also curious?

Regular visitors to our webshop will know that behind names like secret or unnamed Orkney the well-known Highland Park single malt whisky is hidden. This reasonably priced Unnamed Orkney by Van Wees is 17 years old and matured in a refill sherry cask.

Waterford Woodbrook

The Waterford Woodbrook is a firmly peated Irish single malt whisky, distilled according to the terroir principle and therefore released in the Single Farm Origin series. The whisky matured in ex-bourbon casks, new oak casks and French wine casks. (50%)

Westward Single Barrel - Stout Cask - WTF Utrecht

Specially bottled for the Netherlands, this single cask bottling of the American Westward Whiskey. Outside of the US and Australia, you won't easily come across Westward whisky, so extra special, this single malt whisky finished in a stout cask! (50%)

White Oak Akashi NAS

An early single malt bottling from Japanese distiller Eigashima Shuzo. The bottle does not mention age, but this must be a young whisky. Yet the taste palette is already nicely developed, and it has that modest, elegant Japanese character in the nose.

Whitlaw 2014 Signatory Vintage

Fun fact: Behind a famous distillery on the Orkney Islands lie the Whitlaw Hills. But back to business. Bottled by Signatory Vintage in their Vintage Collection, this single malt whisky matured for 10 years in re-charred bourbon casks. (46%)

Williamson 13-year-old Living Souls

Living Souls entered the whisky market in 2024. Until now, they primarily bottled blended Scotch whiskies, but they also release single malts and, like this Williamson, blended malts. The 'teaspooned' Laphroaig matured for 13 years in a bourbon cask. 46%
