Glenrothes 2001 Fragrant Drops

This Glenrothes, one of the more famous Speyside single malts, matured for 24 years, according to the label in a bourbon cask, before being bottled by Fragrant Drops in 2025. Rumour has it that it actually matured in a sherry cask. Can you taste it? (48%)

anCnoc 16-year-old

Speyside distillery Knockdhu (founded in 1893) releases single malt whisky under the name AnCnoc. This 16-year-old malt, matured in ex-bourbon casks, was released as part of the Rich & Sweet series. Indeed, a rich dram with sweet flavours. (46% ABV)

Edradour 2015 Ultimate - Cask 137

And yet another strongly sherried Edradour single malt whisky from bottler Van Wees. And again in their Cask Strength series. This malt from the Southern Highlands aged for 9 years in an active sherry cask and is bottled at 58.9%.

Caol Ila 2015 Ultimate - Matured in Hogsheads

This Caol Ila single malt whisky bottled by Van Wees is 9 years old. The medium-peated Islay malt matured in four bourbon casks. The Ultimate label is known for its reasonable prices, and that is also reflected in this release. (bottled at 46%)

Mortlach 2009 Douglas Laing

'15 glorious years old' is what the label of this Mortlach bottling from Douglas Laing proclaims. It's an edition in the Glasgow-based bottler's Old Particular series. The Speyside single malt whisky matured in a refill bourbon cask. Bottled at 48.4% ABV.

Bruichladdich 10-year-old Classic Laddie

This The Classic Laddie, a single malt whisky bottling from the unique Islay distillery Bruichladdich, is the first in this series with an age statement: 10 years. The spirit is distilled from Scottish barley, and the whisky is bottled at 50% ABV.

Highland 21-year-old Chorlton Whisky

The distillery behind this 21-year-old, bourbon-matured single malt whisky was previously shrouded in mystery, but we now have reliable information that it's whisky from the Isle of Jura Distillery. It's certainly a fine, full-bodied dram! (54.5% ABV)

Linkwood 15-year-old Chorlton Whisky

The Linkwood distillery is known for its elegant, fruity single malt whisky, and this is evident in this 15-year bourbon-cask-matured Chorlton Whisky bottling. Apple, peach, and other fruit notes are present, and also waxy notes and buttery biscuit. 57.5%

Auchroisk 14-year-old Chorlton Whisky

Auchroisk was founded in the 1970s to supply single malt to the blending industry. Fortunately, every now and then, bottlings of this Speyside malt escape that fate, so we can sample it. For example, this 14-year-old, Oloroso-matured edition. (58.4%)

Nc'nean 07-year-old Chorlton Whisky

In 2017, Annabel Thomas opened the Nc'Nean Distillery on a remote peninsula off the Scottish coast, with the goal of distilling a sustainable, flavourful single malt whisky. Chorlton Whisky released this example: 7 years old, bourbon-matured, 57.9% ABV.

Caol Ila 18-year-old Chorlton Whisky

Tullibardine 13-year-old Chorlton Whisky

The colourful labels of Chorlton Whisky's bottlings are certainly impressive, but so is the quality. Here's a 13-year-old single malt whisky from the lesser-known Highland distillery Tullibardine. A great bottle to try to get to know this malt! 52.2% ABV

Balblair 16-year-old Chorlton Whisky

Featuring yet another beautiful medieval illustration on the label, Chorlton Whisky releases this 16-year-old Balbrlair. This single malt from the Highland distillery, founded in 1790, has been bottled at 55.8% after maturation in a bourbon cask.

Glenglassaugh Revival

With the Revival bottlings, Highland Distillery Glenglassaugh celebrates its reopening in 2008 after closing in 1986. This bottling matured in bourbon and red wine casks. Young yet complex, with notes of white grapes, dried fruit, honey, and hay. (46%)

Laphroaig 12-year-old

Exclusive to Travelers, says the label of this 12-Year-Old Laphroaig, but it's also available in our shop. This classic, heavily peated, bourbon-matured Islay single malt whisky is even more intense than the standard 10-Year-Old bottling. (46%)

Kanosuke Single Malt Japanese Whisky

A fine bottle to introduce you to the single malt whisky from Kanusoke Distillery, established in Japan in 2018. This release is unique because, in addition to American oak casks, it was also matured in casks containing the Japanese spirit shochu. (48%)

Kanosuke Hioki Pot Still

This pot-still whisky is distilled by the young Japanese Hioki Distillery, owned by family of the owners of the nearby Kanusoke single malt distillery. The pot-still whisky is made from 90% unmalted barley and only 10% malted barley. Remarkable! (51%)

Malts of Scotland, a respected bottler, released this approximately 12-year-old Mannochmore single malt whisky in 2022. Not complex, but balanced and intense, with beautifully varied fruit notes, honey, vanilla, blossom, toffee, and ginger. (55.5%)

Glenmorangie Companta

This Glenmorangie Companta of unknown age matured in exclusive French wine casks and was bottled in 2014. A fine example of the experimental side of the distillery, which was one of the first to finish whisky in other casks than it matured in. (46%)

Talisker 1991 Distillers Edition - 100 cl

This Talisker was released in 2005 in a 1-litre bottle after 14 years of double-maturation in sherry casks. This peated single malt from the Isle of Skye is a pleasantly drinkable whisky with a beautifully balanced (Amoroso) sherry influence. (45.8% ABV)

Smokehead Islay Single Malt Ian Macleod

According to some, this Smokehead Islay single malt whisky is young Caol Ila finished in Ardbeg casks. Perhaps. In any case, this is a beautiful, uncomplicated and pleasantly drinkable dram for the smoky whisky lover. At 40%.

This one-litre bottle gives you a generous dose of Glenfarclas for a very reasonable price. This Speyside single malt was bottled for sale at airports, but we also stock it in our shop. The whisky matured for 11 years in sherry casks. Bottled at 46% ABV.
