Bottled by Archives in 2019, this Bruichladdich turns out to be a perfectly sherried single malt whisky. The Islay malt matured for 18 years in a 1st-fill sherry cask, and that is reflected in powerful notes such as red fruits, cocoa and chocolate. 56.3%
This bottle is from an Archives bottling, especially for the USA. Bottled in 2019 in 270 bottles at 750ml, the Deanston single malt whisky matured for 21 years in a bourbon cask. As usual with Archives bottlings, the Highlander is at cask strength (52.7%)
With this Exclusive Cask edition, Lindores Abbey congratulates Whisky Import Netherlands on their 20th anniversary. The Lowland single malt whisky matured for 5 years in a Palo Cortado sherry cask, from which 627 bottles came at a cask strength of 59.2%.
With their series Butterflies from the USA, Archives bottles whisky specifically for the American market. In this case, it concerns an American whisky released in 2018, a bourbon from Heaven Hill. The 9-year-old whisky is bottled at no less than 69.1%!
Benromach is not averse to experimenting. This is also the case with this edition in their Contrast series. The single malt whisky is distilled from barley malt with a high enzyme content, a malt normally used for grain whisky. (12y, bourbon aged, 46%)
This Hemel & Hellevuur Dutch single malt whisky was also bottled by 3006 Whisky. The whisky from the young Brabant Bossche Stokers aged for 4 years in a 2nd fill Palo-Cortado octave cask, which is clearly visible from the colour and was bottled at 60.9%.
The sustainable Picadilly Distillery at the foot of the Himalayas has been releasing single malt whisky since 2020. What makes this edition special is that the malt is peated with Indian peat, which enriches the whisky with peat smoke notes. (3y, 58.5%)
A true Islay single malt whisky, this Kilchoman Sanaig. This edition matured as usual in bourbon and sherry casks, but is bottled at cask strength! A whisky with body and a nice combination of peat smoke and sherry notes, at a solid 57.8%.
Also, for this Special No.12 from the Zuidam Distillery, the malt was, of course, milled in a classic Dutch windmill. The spirit for this single malt whisky matured for 20 years in an American oak cask from 1996 to be bottled in 2017. (52.3%)
Scapa is the lesser-known of the two Orkney single malt whiskies, and this is a good bottling to get acquainted with it. The whisky matured for 10 years in a small number of bourbon casks and is bottled at 48% ABV. For a reasonable price, it can be yours!
To celebrate the 11th anniversary of their single malt whisky, Stokerij De Molenberg released this Gouden Carolus Pedro. The Belgian malt aged in bourbon and beer casks and is finished in Spanish vermouth casks. That vermouth was made from PX grapes. 46%
In its Ultimate series, Van Wees released this 14-year-old Oloroso cask-finished Balmenach. The Balmenach distillery has been distilling single malt whisky for about two centuries, a whisky in the typical Speyside style, but with its own character. (46%)
The unique purifiers on the stills at Glen Spey Distillery create a light, delicate single malt whisky. Despite this, this whisky has always been under-exposed. Discover it at a great price with this 16-year-old, sherried bottling by Van Wees. (46%)
This is a bottle from the 49th bottling from the classic A'bunadh series from Speyside distillery Aberlour. The A'bunadh series is seen as an example of well-sherried single malt whisky. This batch 49 was released in 2014, at a cask strength of 60.1%.
Under the Creetown Distillers brand, Whiskybroker releases a 17-year-old Irish single malt whisky (or 'whiskey', in Irish). We don't know which distillery this malt comes from, but we do know that it matured in three bourbon casks. (41.4%)
For a reasonable price, you can get a very pleasantly drinkable dram with this blended Scotch whisky. This blend by Thompson Bros, of which the youngest whisky is 6 years old, is a balanced sherried one and sometimes reminds you of old-skool blends. (46%)
This is not just a blend of single malt whisky: it is a mix of Clynelish, Dornoch and Brora malts! No need to say anything about Brora; Clynelish is always good and Dornoch comes from the Thompson Brothers' own young distillery. (48.5%)

Unique: this bottle comes packaged in a guitar case! It comes from a bottling in celebration of the Arran Malt & Music Festival 2018, a blend of Arran single malt whiskies matured in three types of cask: French, Spanish and American oak. (57.6%)
A Glendronach with a twist, that's what you could call this 14-year-old single malt whisky. The fact that it matured in re-charred casks is not the most remarkable thing, but it is that it's finished in American new oak casks. And you can taste that! 46%

Signatory Vintage is known for its high-quality, often special bottlings. This Ardbeg bottling is an extraordinary one! The peated Islay single malt whisky was vatted in a first-fill Oloroso cask in 1991 and was bottled 33 years later. (52.6%)
A 12-year-old sherried Bowmore single malt whisky for this price; you don't want to miss that out! The mildly peated Islay malt matured in Oloroso and bourbon casks before having an oloroso finish. Released in the Sherry Oak Cask series. (40%)
