New Cask Strength from Glendronach

This second batch has been personally selected once again by Master Blender Billy Walker. At 55.2% vol, non chill-filtered and bottled at its natural colour, it has been matured as before in a combination of Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks. Also available in 20 ml sample bottle.

Pure and Waxy Clynelish 1995 Specialists' Choice

Dutch importer Bresser & Timmer select whisky from different bottlers. This time they selected a Clynelish 1995 from a sherry hogshead and is bottled by Dewar Rattray at cask strength.
It's a very clean and waxy Clynelish. At first it seems a bit young but soon it becomes clear this is not a young whisky at all. There is just not a lot of wood and sherry influence which interfere with the excellent Clynelish distillate.
A must try for Clynelish fans. Also available in 20 ml sample bottle.

Kavalan Tasting at Whiskybase

Our shop has all the different bottlings from Kavalan in stock again so why not organise a tasting where we line them all up? We couldn't find the answer either. You can look forward to a tasting with several single casks bottlings, the Solists. Not only the Bourbon and Sherry cask Solists but also the highly appreciated Fino cask Solist will be there. Shortly after the tasting samples will be available in the webshop.

Kilchoman tasting with Peter Wills

On May 16th Peter Wills from Kilchoman Distillery will be in Rotterdam to host a tasting. We can expect to taste a few new bottlings like the Loch Gorm, Machir Bay 2013 but also a single cask bottling for Whisky Import Nederland. Some of the whiskies will be available as samples in the webshop a few days after the tasting.
